Tomi Niezgoda is a Canine Massage

Provider and Instructor. 

Tomi studied at the PetMassage Institute in Toledo, Ohio and returned for advanced training to become an instructor. She continues to study Healing Touch for Animals, energy work and reflexology. “I can’t get enough of it!” she says. “I’m always off studying a new modality. It becomes an obsession. Classes, books, magazines, videos, practice, doggie kisses. I spend far more money than I make, I’m sure.

Tomi says, My mother was ahead of her time. She was always into massage, reflexology, yoga, and holistic medicine. I thought she was nuts and wanted nothing to do with it. Now she’s gone, and I’m involved in all those things!  I was in San Diego (my most favorite place on earth) a couple of years ago and went to bed wondering what I could do almost anywhere. I woke up, and it was crystal clear - dog massage! My mother was still telling me what to do! 

Tomi started her own business, Pawsitive Massage, in 2004 from her home in Kentwood, MI. She has established group lessons and makes home visits for individual massage and lessons.  “I’m just waiting for the day I can throw my table in the car and head for warmer winter weather!” she says.
